Mobilize more than 150 trained personnel to deal with numerous types of contaminants as a result of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attack. Work involved the excavation of ‘Freeze Pits’ and the cutting of roadways and excavation of slot trenches for the temporary ‘shunting’ of electrical power, shut down of electrical and gas services. Fabrication and installation of pipe and fittings to restore gas service and personnel, debris removal and equipment decontamination. 

Hallen mobilized 15 backhoes, 5 welding rigs, 20 support vans and 3 dump trucks to support this time critical project.
