Since 1927, the Hallen family of companies has been a part of the rich, deeply embedded heritage of New York based construction and utility contractors. In 1996 responding to both regulatory changes and at the request of our clients. Hallen began supplying environmental site clean-up services, both independently, and in support of other construction and utility work. Based upon this long and successful history Hallen Environmental Services, LLC, (herein after referred to as Hallen Environmental or HES) was formed as a privately held remediation and environmental site services firm established as a New York limited liability company in 2006.

The company is headquartered in Island Park, Long Island, New York and provides an array of environmental remediation services throughout the Tri-State area. Since the company’s inception, Hallen Environmental has continuously developed unique relationships with environmental consulting and engineering firms, general contractors and utility companies by providing complimentary value added services to enhance their capabilities and serve their needs.

Currently we supply multifaceted environmental remediation and site clean-up services to Standard and Poor 500TM companies, major utilities, federal, state and local government entities, as well as private and commercial clientele.

Our organization brings to table the full management support, experience, financial, personnel, equipment, procurement knowledge, buying power and breadth of experience and other resources to provide the seamless capability to accomplish a wide variety of services cost effectively and safely to our Clients.
Significant cost savings can be seen by our Clients in the ‘bundling’ of the services required to complete the scope of work on a project, especially where subsurface utility and environmental issues in soil and groundwater are found to coexist. The Hallen Environmental ability to work in both of these environments precludes the need for Clients to prepare expensive additional procurements, the contracting for separate services and the additional management time required to coordinate and oversee more than one contractor.

We feel this is important to our Clients to control the quality of services we provide to ultimately minimize costs and liability from the risks of subcontracting much of the work.

Hallen Environmental is in the enviable position of having both the quality and quantity of personnel and equipment as well as longstanding excellent union relationships in place to ensure we get the best supplemental labor as required to execute our projects. Our resources are deployed from our Maspeth and Island Park locations that provide additional support in the form of:

• A fabrication shop at the Maspeth, Queens Hub Office.
• A full Maintenance shop with 4 Full Time Mechanics at the Maspeth, Queens Hub Office.
