As Quality Assurance Manager for Hallen Environmental Services, LLC., Mr. Handley is responsible for assuring that all project quality assurance and quality control requirements are adhered to in order to provide a finished product constructed in compliance at or exceeding the highest quality standards of Hallen Environmental Services, LLC and the Client’s requirements. Mr. Handley is also responsible for the maintenance and periodic revisions to the company’s Quality Management Plan which provides guidance for the standards of quality and care for all work performed by the company. He additionally works with project management in the preparation of individual project Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control Project Plans as required.

 

Experience

Mr. Handley has 6 years of experience in utility construction, remediation and operations and more than 13 years in a management and supervisory capacity. Responsibilities include quality assurance, quality control monitoring and oversight, personnel and subcontractor supervision and oversight, documentation control and distribution, ordering materials and machinery, and contract billing. Mr. Handley is presently in charge of quality assurance / quality control of the 14 mile Neptune Upland Cable Project on Long Island. Responsibilities include the supervision of 30 men, the ordering of materials and machinery and the planning and scheduling of daily / weekly activities.



Selected Projects

Mr. Handley has worked on and completed various projects in and around New York City. These include:

  • QA/QC Manager and Expediter - the Neptune Upland Cable Project on Long Island.
  • Supervisor - remediation of the KeySpan LNG Plant in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
  • Supervisor - remediation of 990 Bay Street in Staten Island.
  • Draftsman - various gas main / gas service installations and overhaul projects for KeySpan throughout New York City.
